Announcing the judges and our first speaker.

On December 5, 2026, we're bringing our inaugural edition to Innis Town Hall in Toronto to celebrate storytelling, imagination, and the possibilities of AI in cinema.

The jury

Bianca Tse

Bianca Tse

Hong Kong-born digital creator exploring personal memory, collective history, and AI. Her ongoing project Walled City Wildest Dreams reimagines Hong Kong's City of Darkness through history, imagination, and experimental AI documentary. She also lectures at the University of Hong Kong's School of Future Media.

Roxanne Ducharme

Roxanne Ducharme

Award-winning filmmaker, illustrator, and animator bringing 40 years of traditional animation experience to AI filmmaking. Her credits span major studio features, Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated projects, and Emmy-winning television. She was also named one of Leonardo.Ai's Top 50 Women AI Filmmakers.

Fred Fuchs

Fred Fuchs

Film and television producer, former President of Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope, and former CBC executive, with more than 45 years of experience. His credits include The Godfather Part III and Bram Stoker's Dracula, and his productions have received 11 Academy Award nominations and four Emmy Award nominations.

Odair Faléco

Odair Faléco

Brazilian multidisciplinary artist and award-winning AI filmmaker based in Prague. He is the founder of zero1cine and president of the Czech International AI Film Festival. His work explores storytelling, technology, and visual culture, earning recognition including Best AI Film at the 30th BIFAN in South Korea.

Robert Gaudette

Robert Gaudette

A Canadian filmmaker and former photographer whose work blends generative AI with deeply human storytelling. Huge congratulations to Robert on his latest win at the Reply AI Film Festival in Venice for A Face Only a Mother Could Love.
